So some solace from the American mid-terms elections in that Tea Party candidates who were once witches couldn’t get elected.
But still the worry will be that two years on from “yes, we can”, the Americans have joined the British, lost heart and are back in the vogue of “no, we can’t”.
Common commentary says Obama concentrated on health service reform instead of the economy. If it is the message, well maybe he can focus on the economy now. At least health reforms got through whilst he have the votes in Senate and Congress.
