South Derbyshire Tories against Council Housing

Over 4,000 new council homes will be built in 2010, with housing for over 8,000 people.

And none of them in South Derbyshire - cos South Derbyshire Tories won’t apply.

Bolsover gets 18 bungalows for the elderly and the disabled.

Instead, South Derbyshire Tories are focussed on selling off council houses, if possible without the support of tenants.

The proposed sell-off was not mentioned in their local elections manifesto in 2007.

South Derbyshire deserves better.
