The 70th anniversary of the start of the Second World War.

The media today seem united in thinking this was Adolf Hitler's fault.

So why would a BNP MEP have joined a party created especially on Hitler's birthday? We know why.

But raise this with people thinking of voting BNP, and you get we're going too far back in time.

Interesting then that the BNP ran their European campaign celebrating the Spitfire. As was pointed out the day after the launch, the Spitfire depicted carried the colours of a free Polish airman.
