Fourteen Years

I was re-elected in May 2007 for Mapperley ward, which includes -  - Mapperley itself, including     - Mapperley Park,      - Alexandra Park & Coppice Grove,      - Mapperley Hills, and     - Sherwood Vale;          - City Heights  - parts of St.Ann's     - St.Ann's Hill (Belle Vue) near the city centre,     - the St.Ann's allotment gardens,      - St.Ann's Well, incl.        - Ransom Road estate and        - estates along The Wells Road, and - Thorneywood, and      - part of neighbouring Honeywood.

Previously I represented the old Mapperley ward (including the east part of Sherwood but not The Wells, Thorneywood or Belle Vue) for 10 years (1993-2003); first on the County Council (1993-98), then the City Council (1997-2003). I am Chair of Governors at Elliott Durham, the local comprehensive secondary school.

I'm Campaigns Officer for John Heppell, Labour Member of Parliament for Nottingham East. In 2002, I was a Corporate Inspector of 3 other local authorities - Oxfordshire, Gloucestershire and the City of Bristol.  I served as a PRESUD inspector (European Sustainable Development) of Den Haag (The Hague) in April 2004.

I worked for an I.T. company for 18 years and a programmer and project manager and I'm a member of the Transport Salaried Staffs Association.  I support Shrewsbury Town Football Club. (Last reviewed 2007-07-21; clipart to be re-instated)
