Eurocities Annual General Meeting in Porto - a meeting of major European local authorities to work more effectively for the interests of local government in the European Union. Unfortunately, the stilted, and read, presentations seriously undermine the effectiveness of the event.

Elliott Durham governors.

Labour triumphs in the Sherwood by-election. Labour gains a seat from the Tories by 500 votes, having lost by 32 in May.

First Government announcement on grant support for the City Council next year. At this early stage, can only really glean that it’s good news for schools.
