Labour Party web site of the week

This web site was awarded web site of the week by the Labour Party's weekly e-news mailshot on 3 January 2002. This very significant award (my second since a school prize in the first year) was mentioned at Full Council during questions on the City Council's web-site ... . In case you're interested, my other prize was winning the County Council Pension Fund's Fantasy Investment League in the mid-90's. Having decided to put 99% in Railtrack as a way of highlighting the failures of the then privatised company, I then found that the stock markets didn't agree and that Railtrack's share values increased whilst almost every other firm's was falling.  Railtrack subsequently failed and is now in public ownership again.
